The terms and conditions on this page explain the agreement between JCT and you, the user of JCT’s services.

The website's purpose

The Site, Application, and Services are an online platform that allows students to find their ideal tutors and tutors to locate students for online tutoring and assignment assistance.

 Personal information

We believe that every user of our Site/Application/Services must be in a position to provide informed consent before providing any information required for the use of the Site/Application/Services. By registering with us, you are expressly consenting to our collection, processing, storing, disclosing, and handling of your information.

Your JCT Account and Dashboard will be created for your use of the Site and Application based upon the personal information you provide to us. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. JCT reserves the right to suspend or terminate your JCT Account and your access to the Site, Application, and Services if you create more than one JCT Account, or if any information provided during the registration process or thereafter proves to be inaccurate, fraudulent, not current, incomplete, or otherwise in violation of these terms.

The JCT account holder accepts allowing JTC to reach them through calls, SMS, email, and WhatsApp for any queries.

Account Registration

You are responsible for safeguarding your password. If you disclose your password to any third party, you agree that you will take sole responsibility for any activities or actions under your JCT Account, whether or not you have authorized such activities or actions. You will immediately notify JCT of any unauthorized use of your JCT account.

If you are a tutor, you understand and agree that your relationship with JCT is limited to being an account holder, an independent, third-party contractor, and not an employee, agent, joint-venturer, or partner of JCT for any reason.  JCT has no control over your offline activities. As an account holder, you agree not to do anything to create a false impression that you are endorsed by, partnering with, or acting on behalf of or for the benefit of JCT.

Site Access

You will be able to access the majority of this website without having to register any details with us. However, particular areas of this website will only be accessible if you have registered for an account.

User Conduct

JCT has the right to investigate and prosecute violations of any of the following to the fullest extent of the law. For a violation of this section or these terms, JCT may take a range of actions against you, including but not limited to deactivating or canceling your JCT account.

*copy, store, or otherwise access or use any information contained on the Site, Application, or Services for purposes other than those expressly permitted by these terms.

*use our Site, Application, or Services to transmit, distribute, post, or submit any information about another person or entity, including, but not limited to, photographs of others taken without their permission, personal contact information, credit, debit, calling card, or account numbers.

*stalking or harassing any other user of our site, application or, services.

*register for more than one JCT account or register for a JCT account on behalf of someone other than yourself, unless the parent or guardian is registering the account for their child or ward.

*systematically retrieve data or other content from our Site, Application, or Services to create or compile, either directly or indirectly, in single or multiple downloads, a collection, compilation, database, directory, or the like, whether by manual methods, bots, crawlers, or otherwise.

*by using viruses forged routing or electronic mail address information, or similar methods or technology, you may interfere with or damage our site, application, or services.

*republish JCT materials online or offline without JCT permission.

Reporting Misconduct

If you feel someone is acting or has acted inappropriately, including but not limited to someone who engages in offensive, violent, sexually inappropriate behavior or engages in any other disturbing conduct, you should immediately report such person to the appropriate authorities and JCT.

Termination of Account

If your JCT account has been terminated due to misconduct, you are not entitled to a restoration of your JCT account. You may not register a new JCT account or attempt to access and use the Site, Application, and Services through other JCT Accounts.

Disclaimers

Use the site, application, or services entirely at your own risk. You acknowledge and agree that JCT is under no obligation to conduct background or character checks on any of its members, but may do so at its sole discretion. If we choose to conduct such checks, we expressly disclaim any warranties, express or implied, that such checks will identify prior misconduct by a user or guarantee that a user will not engage in misconduct in the future, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You are solely responsible for all of your communications and interactions with other users of the Site, Application or Services and with other people with whom you communicate or interact as a result of your use of the Site, Application or Services, including, but not limited to, any students.

You agree to take reasonable precautions in all communications and interactions with other users of the site, application, or services and with other people with whom you communicate or interact as a result of your use of the site, application, or services, including, but not limited to, students, particularly if you decide to meet offline or in person. JTC explicitly disclaims all liability for any act or omission of any student or other third party.

Site Uptime

This website may be temporarily unavailable due to issues such as system failure, maintenance or repair, or for reasons beyond our control. We will try to give our visitors advance notice of maintenance issues where possible, but we are not obligated to do so.

Pricing Conditions

Per contact connection, there are 50 credits for $2. No refund will be made if either party is unavailable.
